Insertion Order

A formal, printed order to run an ad campaign.

Typically, it identifies the campaign name, the Web site receiving the order, the planner or buyer giving the order, the individual ads to be run and who will provide them, the ad sizes, the beginning and end dates of the ad runs, the CPM, the total cost, discounts, reporting requirements, and stipulations relative to a failure to deliver.
