The graphical appearance common to nearly all modern software and browsers.Before GUI, interacting with the computer was accomplished by typing in text commands and receiving text answers.
The advantage of GUI is easy-to-use, icon based controls and features that are similar from one product to another and which mimic everyday dials, buttons, and images.
