Clickstream

The recorded path of Web pages clicked by a user while surfing the Web.

This information is helpful for a Web site owner to find out how visitors are using their site, which Web pages get the most use, how visitors travel to each page, what pages they look at, how they order a product, and how effective ads are in directing traffic.

Clickstream analysis is the process of collecting, analyzing, and reporting data about which pages users visit and in what order. It is must after you launch your web site.

There are two types of clickstream analysis: e-commerce analysis and traffic analysis.
